Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Came out in 2012, and for many (myself included), it’s one of the best CoD games ever made.
It had everything: a really good multiplayer, a campaign where your choices actually changed the ending, and a legendary zombies mode with maps like Tranzit, Mob of the Dead, and Buried.

The “Pick 10” system for customizing your classes was super innovative at the time, and maps like Hijacked and Raid are still fan favorites today. Plus, the villain Raul Menéndez wasn’t just some generic bad guy—he had a real backstory, which made the campaign feel different.

Honestly, a lot of us are still hoping for a remaster that just updates the graphics but keeps everything else the same. The game was a gem just the way it was.
